A WEEK AT RURAL ROOTS ACADEMY
Online Support:
All material is is pre-loaded, so students can work through at their own pace. But Monday - Thursday, students can access live meets with teachers or come in for in - person support.
IN PERSON SUPPORT:
Monday: Drop in support - 9am-4pm
Tuesday: Grades 1-4 Hub Day, 9am-2pm
Wednesday: Grades 5-9 Hub Day, 9am-2pm
Thursday: Drop in support, 9am-4pm
DESCRIPTION & DETAILS:

Drop In:​ Students can drop into access support in their coursework. Students can come anytime from from 9-4, and stay as long as they need/desire.​​
Hub Days: These days are designed for students to associate with peers. The days will look like this:
9-11: Coursework, book talk, literacy & numeracy activities
11-12: Lunch
12-2: Local excursion, activity, guest speaker
FIELD TRIPS & JOB SHADOWING/FIELD EXPERIENCES: DAYS WILL VARY
ONLINE AND IN PERSON MEETINGS ARE OPTIONAL. EACH FAMILY CAN DESIGN A SCHEDULE THAT IS INDIVIDUAL AND FLEXIBLE.

Our goal is to offer a space that focuses on an individualized approach for each students to cultivate a love for learning and encourage students to explore their passions more deeply. All families and students have diverse needs and we want to provide a comfortable and knowledgeable space that best accommodates your needs and your life. If you are a family that is is homeschooling or pursuing alternate forms of education but would like a space to access resources, additional help, and socialization we're here for you. If you're enrolled in surrounding local schools and are seeking a supervised place to complete homework after school or seek additional help, we're here for you too. We also have online resources you can utilize from the comfort of your own home.
